On Sunday, January 10, 2010 there will be a planned Reuters DataLink outage from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm eastern time. The purpose of this outage is to upgrade the existing infrastructure.

What This Means:

All users of Reuters DataLink data will encounter a disruption to their Reuters DataLink service; and will NOT be able to open any charts using Data On Demand data or download Reuters DataLink data during this time. However, any data that has already been downloaded to a local file can still be accessed.

When the connection has come back up, all data will be available. No data will be lost or dropped during this outage.

Options:

While the Data On Demand data will not be available, any data that the user has already downloaded will be available. If you need to work on your charts during this outage period, we highly recommend downloading the data that you need before Sunday, January 10, 2010.
